a new blog!

Hello world! This post marks a new beginning for this blog – a space for us to share our adventures, and also for us to document and look back on all the things we’ve done. We’re excited to recount some of our past travels and experiences and continue to share our new ventures.

A little bit about us – I, Lilian, grew up in Burnaby, British Columbia, and Jiajia grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. We met in school at the University of British Columbia, and now live happily together in Calgary, Alberta.

Our main shared hobbies include climbing, hiking and travelling. As neither of us grew up in outdoorsy families, we slowly developed our hobbies together after university, and it’s been a fun time learning and stumbling together. Our ultimate goal is to be able to develop enough skills and experience so that we’ll be able to venture out and do cool things independently
